Where is the freedom of the press, the companies who espouse social responsibility, the congressmen, the humanitarian organizations (CEJIL), TV and radio stations whose duty, whose obligation it is to defend and protect the citizens against government persecution, violence, corruption and Human Rights abuses by the Presidential Police - la DIS of Oscar Arias, Laura Chinchilla and the ruling elite?

There is no one. There is absolutely no one to uphold human dignity & the Declaration of Human Rights in Costa Rica. No one.

Not one individual, believer in moral justice, has firmly stood up to protect the citizens from the secret Presidential Police - la DIS of Oscar Arias, Rodrigo Arias, Luis Paulino Mora, Laura Chinchilla, la Nación, el Semanario, Instituto de Prensa y Libertad de Expresión (IPLEX), OAS, la República, the press, TV Channels 4, 6,7, 11.. radio, the Government and the oligarchy – the dictatorial kleptocracy.

All media is controlled by the state security apparatus la DIS.

Their constant Constitutional & Human Rights abuses, scams, extortion, blackmail, intimidation, lies (paja), threats (sopa de muñecas) and beatings (torture) of citizens and businesses in Costa Rica remain uchecked unpoken of - a daily reminder etched into our subconcsioucs, a blinding testimony of national betrayal.

Why the silence in the face such suffering and "flagrant human rights" abuses to 1000's and 1000's of victims? What permits a political and media infrastructure to prosecute a psychic of emotional fear and terror?

It has been and will always be money and power. Money buys influence and power and more money and power corrupt. For some it is the ultimate wet dream.

It is this reticence which has been fueled by smell of riches that perpetuates this decaying decadent government institution.

Individuals remains silent through receiving bribes (chorizos), by convienient choice, or through tertiary interference - threats of violent reprisals by the Presidential Police La DIS  silencing truth of those very principles that they are meant to uphold.

I swore never to be silent whenever and wherever human beings endure suffering and humiliation. We must always take sides. Neutrality helps the oppressor, never the victim. Silence encourages the tormentor, never the tormented.

Individuals have international duties which transcend the national obligations of obedience. Therefore, (individual citizens) have the duty to prevent crimes against peace and humanity from occuring.

Silence implies consent and empowers the corrupt
